FAQ

Asking questions can open a window to the greatest pleasures in life. In doing so, you open yourself to learning more about the world around you and become more confident in the life you’re living. Here are a few questions to get you started.

Each person is unique, and each journey is different. People seek therapy for many reasons. Sometimes people want to address long-standing mental health challenges. Other times, people seek therapy in response to unexpected life changes. Many times, people seek therapy to pursue self-exploration, growth and become more attuned with their lives. Working with a therapist can help provide insight and new strategies for all types of life challenges. Therapy offers a private confidential space away from the busyness, stressors, or roles in our lives. Therapy is right for anyone who needs help with life’s difficulties, for those who want to create greater self-awareness, for those who are looking to achieve new goals, for those with mental health challenges, as well as for those who look to understand their lives and the many wonderful opportunities life offers.
At SafePointe, we practice 5 main principles:
  • Turning inward to access the answers within.
  • Going deeper to see what drives human behavior.
  • Slowing down to increase insight and heal from the inside out.
  • Integrating the fragmented pieces of yourself to live a life that is whole in mind, spirit, and body.
  • A trauma-informed environment fostering safety, trust, honesty, and collaboration.
The time we spend together will be completely confidential. The exceptions are:
  • If you plan to cause bodily harm to yourself or someone else
  • If there is expressed abuse of a minor or elder
